Champagne Life

Posted by Kenny Mac | Posted in Random Acts Of Mac | Posted on 29-11-2010

Over the summer while in Paris I was honored to take a trip to the Champagne region of France (If it doesn’t come from here its sparkling wine not champagne). I was able to to check out the historic wine cellars of Moet & Chandon and the abbey of the father of Champagne and monk Dom Perignon. This region and some of cellars date back to the time of the Romans. Check it out

Jordan Foamposites

Posted by Kenny Mac | Posted in Heat Seekers | Posted on 25-11-2010

Every now and then a pair of kicks come out that I have to have. The Jordan 1 was one of my favorite sneakers ever, and I’m from DC so I love Foamposites. When I heard that nike was releasing a Jordan 1 Foamposite I had to have them. The second they came out they sold out. Luckily a homie from Jordan hooked me up. Thanks for the love.

Startups + Starbucks

Posted by Kenny Mac | Posted in Random Acts Of Mac, The Movement | Posted on 24-11-2010

One of the biggest growing pains of building Creative Contraband was temporary work space for our team. Here are some pics of a day in the life before we had our office space. Thank goodness for Starbucks for their new remodel and free WiFi. Great place to work out of.

Prayers of Madonna

Posted by Kenny Mac | Posted in Internet Treasure | Posted on 18-11-2010

e899tz_1madonna-like-a-prayer

Young Killuh B sparked up conversation in the Creative Contraband office about Madonna. I was explaining to her that in her hay day Madonna was able to entertain, create social awareness and stir controversy all at once. One of my favorite videos by Madonna was Like A Prayer. I remember when it came it I was young and shocked. She addresses social issues of race, religion and sex in this video. At the time the video was banned however thanks to Youtube I can share it today. B will be doing her own Madonna entry when she launches her blog, which I am sure will be as controversial as Madonna’s video… Enjoy:
