When he made a videotaped address on international network television professing his innocence in regards to sexual molestation charges & then proceeding to give the accuser 20 million dollars just a few days later to “go away”… I think it was 1993?

^^^^^^ you are right about that. Although this is an unfortunate situation, I really have mixed feelings about the molestation cases. I don’t understand it. I know i know “he was childlike” and “it was innocent fun, he just liked playing with children.” Why did he like playing with only boys and have pictures of only boys posted up? why did he have a secret room (yes he did) where the boys slept in that you could only get to from Michael’s room? I just dont get it. I am inclined to believe some of the accusations. I don’t think this man was completely innocent of all of those charges. I know, I know, but he is Michael Jackson and famous and rich and could dance and sing. Well there are alot of criminals out there that are multi talented. I dont know the truth (im sure it will come out eventually) but I still dont believe it all.
My first memory of MJ was listening to an 8track of Thriller I wore that tape out. I remember kids @ my school that went to the concert coming back with magical stories and we sat around and listened like they saw Big Foot. Easy, Mike

Or the first time I saw “Remember the Time,” I got sooooo excited to see Magic and Eddie in the video with Mike.
Or the time my sister sang “ABC” when she brought home a stool she made for me in wood shop that said “ABC 123″ back when i was in preschool. That track is still THAT TRACK to me.
Mikes that dude. MJ’s makin it rain in heaven now and is gonna keep moonwalking on all of you haters for ever.
I remember watching the Jackson 5 cartoon on ABC way back then…ABC, I Want You Back, then the Off The Wall and Thriller days, there are too many memories to mention - there is no questioning the indelible mark Michael has left on music. Whether you’re a fan of his or not, there should be no denying Michael Jackson’s brilliance, talent and what he meant to pop music, and more importantly to black culture. In this time of mourning his death why is it necessary to hate? This is a time to acknowledge what he meant to so many people around the world and the lives he inspired.
Most of you haters wish you could achieve just 1% of his success and legacy to make your lives worth something.
